Open Houses On your Own

If you enjoy visiting open houses on the weekend, let the Agent in the home know that you have your own Agent.  In fact, keep a stack of your Agent’s cards in your glove box for distribution.  That way you will be free to tour the home without having to share your personal information with the Agent who is there. 

And, did you know that every Tuesday in most towns there is an open house for properties that are new to the market?  While these tours are primarily attended by Realtors who are previewing the properties, you are free to visit those you might be interested in.  Again, it is important to share that you have an Agent and to leave his or her card in the home in lieu of leaving your personal information.
